This piece is my personal interpretation of the Lakota Ceremony Hanbleceya or loosely translated as Crying for a Vision. It involves staying within an altar space for up to four days and nights without food and water.

My hope through such pieces is to bring focus to the onlooker for personal inner connection to all life, perhaps a focal point for mediation, reflection, Prayer and to wake up a connection to the Indigenous ways and people.
