Celestial Orbits III

Celestial Orbits III is a generative artwork inspired by the movement of bodies in space using Newton's law of universal gravitation and motion. These simple laws, which only depend on the mass of the bodies and their distance, govern the universe.

Celestial bodies are positioned in space and moved only by the force of gravity. They leave traces of their orbits that gradually draw an image. All movements are calculated using Newton's law of universal gravitation and motion. There are two additional bodies that are fixed in space.
