Bulan is the fairest son of Dagat (the sea) and Paros (the wind) from Bikolano folklore. Beautiful and docile, Bulan was loved by all. Upon his death, he became the moon. Some modern depictions of Bulan portray him as the consort of Sidapa - the Visayan God of Death.
