This piece is my tribute to the people of Bukidnon, to our roots, our struggles, and our unbreakable spirit. I used soil from our own land because it carries our story; every grain holds memory and life. The figure you see represents the strength of our tribes, the pain we endure, and the wisdom passed down through generations. The tattoos and patterns are echoes of our culture, while the rising smoke symbolizes our prayers to the spirits who guide us. Through this painting, I want to remind everyone that our heritage is alive, in our land, our art, and our courage to stand for who we are.
