Boogeyman

Silent and hidden The boogeyman is living Until suddenly it reveals itself Whether you're a child or an adult Whether you're strong or weak It stood there waiting It comes to you with big hands It embraces you and shakes you It shocks the soul to the core It is the fear of the unknown It is the fear of the future It is the fear that takes its own shape You surrender to its will It dances hypnotic and bewitching Building a comfortable cage.
