Sir Heymon the Red abruptly found himself part of the search for a missing child when a peasant from the village of Arkeney fell beneath the hooves of his mount after falling into the road whilst searching the underbrush for said child. Believing it his civic duty to help the peasants (and in no small part to assuage his guilt), Sir Heymon set off to aid in the search.
What the brave knight found however was no small child; and instead, the bound remains of a dread witch cast into this cave to rot centuries ago. Still imbued with a fraction of the powerful magicks which suffused her body in life the witch set about draining the brave knight’s flesh of his blood to reanimate her own and once again wreak havoc upon the world.
