Bob Marley

Bob Marley is a shining beacon of happiness for people all over the world. Throughout his life he channeled his aura into his music and shared it with millions of people worldwide. Growing up listening to his music had a huge influence on my perspective on life and on my artwork. He encouraged people to spread love and to enjoy the little things in life, like a beautiful sun setting over the ocean or birds flying against a bright blue sky.

For this piece, I tried to channel Bob Marley's positive energy and carefree essence, complimenting his portrait with beautiful scenes I've snapped around the world, melding his spirit with nature, where it belongs and now rests. Bob Marley lives on in so many others through his positive influence, as he said himself "My richness is life, forever".
