Flora forms developed with Blender Eevee engine

A derivative of the Mixed MIneral series, this body of work is a commentary on the politics of crossing borders, extraction of natural resources, and the navigation of multiple identities and cultures.

An image of the minerals dolomite and calcite mined in Germany and Kazakhstan was manipulated through procedural settings in Blender resulting in objects resembling flower forms, some more organic, others more crystalline.
