This image is part of a series of explorations that I made shortly after relocating to Colorado. The images are designed to somehow express the massive sense of scale that I observed viewing our beautiful mountains and plains. I wanted the structure to be something that could be interpreted as either a geological or a living being. It is procedurally constructed using an algorithm, with the same shape stacked and repeating on top of itself. Each repetition has slight variations, similar to how rocks form and how plants grow.
