Pop icon Billie Eilish posing for Vogue June 2021 Issue, this shoot speaks to the pressure of women in the music industry being pushed to sexualise themselves for marketing. For most of her career she has kept to wearing baggy threads and made a point of hiding her chest, now 19 I see this shoot as her collaborating with a high end fashion brand to empower women who don't have mainstream body types. This shoot is considered sexy, but she did it because she wanted to, not because somebody told her she had to. 😊
