Big Bounce

According to the Big Bounce scenario, the universe did not begin with the Big Bang. Rather, a universe existed that contracted into an unprecedentedly hot, dense state (which we think of as the Big Bang) and then expanded again. These drawings - Day and Night - reflect that scenario, the Big Bounce, in which everything contracts again.

These are unique hand-drawn artworks. The artworks Day and Night - #2 and #3 - were created on sturdy black drawing sheets measuring seventy by fifty centimeters. Due to the unique drawing technique, each art production was time intensive.
