This work is a poetic meditation on a life suspended between freedom and fragility—between the longing to break free and the invisible forces that keep us bound.
The origami birds embody dreams, desires, and the human instinct to rise beyond limitations. Yet, made from folded paper, their wings also speak of the delicate nature of freedom itself: something we imagine, create, and carry within us, even when we cannot fully reach it.
The pomegranates represent love, life, abundance, and the hidden depths of existence. Their skin protects countless seeds, suggesting the many stories, memories, wounds, and possibilities that remain concealed beneath the surface.
The red fish, alive within a fragile bag of water, becomes a quiet metaphor for existence itself—breathing, moving, and surviving, yet confined within a boundary that can be broken at any moment. It lives in the space between protection and imprisonment, safety and captivity.
At the center, the woman becomes the embodiment of these contradictions. She carries freedom and confinement, tenderness and resilience, desire and vulnerability within herself. She does not simply stand between two worlds; she becomes the space where those worlds meet.
Perhaps fragility is not the opposite of freedom.
Perhaps it is the very thing that makes our longing for freedom so deeply human.
