The first painting in a series of two, designed to celebrate the folklore of Santa Catarina (BR).

The painting represents the folkloric figure of the Boi de Mamão, from Santa Catarina (BR), the Bernunça.

Bernunça is almost a dragon, a monster that eats everything in its path. She is accompanied by Maricota, another character from Boi de Mamão, who is a very tall blonde woman, who twirls and waves her long arms.
