In the beginning there was nothing but the void of space. And then it was filled with stars, shining like a million lanterns in the night sky. God watched them all and decided that one star would die for each person on earth to whom He gave life. But since He could not kill off every star by Himself (for they were very far apart), he sent angels to do His work.
