Even if I spend much of my time in the city with my camera, I don't consider myself a street photographer. However, when I saw this senior citizen arrive to that spot and sit there I felt the need to ask him if I could photograph him. He didn't speak any English, but somehow we managed to understand each other. I snapped four photos and when I was done I walked towards him with the intention to show him the photographs. He didn't show any interest in seeing them, and kindly waved good bye to me while giving me a shy smile.
