"Banana" Original

Artist Mark Rivard releases his first ever NFT. This 1/1 is a fitting launch for the artist into the NFT space as its original was illustrated in Rivard's classic Sharpie on Skateboard form. Beginning his career as an illustrator using Sharpie Markers on skateboards, Rivard corralled an endorsement deal with the marker company in 2011 becoming a face of the brand.

"Banana", originally created in 2019, was first seen on the cover of Growler Magazine's April 2019 issue. In this first NFT drop Rivard has chosen to mint 1 of 1, and the piece pays homage to his roots as a skateboard artist and illustrator, with a nod the king of Pop Art.
