Ballon is a concept present in the language of dance. It is about imprinting the energy of lightness in the movement of the body, especially in jumps, as if gravity were very low, or even as if it did not exist. The idea of the "ballon" is to simulate that there is no effort to jump, and that the body can float in the air, almost stop and land softly. The term is believed to be derived from the French word ballon (meaning "balloon"), although it is also speculated that the word was inspired by the French dancer Claude Balon, known for performing exceptionally light jumps. This work was created by mixing the language of dance with simulation techniques and 3D animation, which make it possible to explore different elements of dance without the limitations of the real world, presenting other bodies and other ways of moving the body in time and space.
