BagMan

Animated digital collage. It continues my SmackMan theme, which is a highly recognizable icon from the early days of my crypto art.

The shopping bag is part of the original oil painting "Sac Surprise" https://makersplace.com/reinhardschmid/sac-surprise-1-of-7-3553/ and has gained a special new meaning for me during the times of the current Covid-19 crisis 2020.

For me, the bag has become a symbol for different aspects of life during the crisis. It stands for commerce. The exchange of goods in general, supply but also shortage of things, by interrupted trade routes. It also serves as a symbol for panic buying as well as efforts of small businesses, trying to survive with new pickup and delivery services.

Going with the theme of the surprise bag, SmackMan hides and shows himself alternately and wants to encourage us as always to a positive attitude.
