You look up and are dwarfed by the gleaming white light being in front of you. Suddenly, feeling tiny, helpless, and confronted with the reminder of loved ones lost, you find yourself blinking back hot tears. She was the only angel brave enough to face the Darkness on Earth. Now She is the one chosen to shepherd the souls to their final resting place.

You reflect, humbled that you do not yet know enough about the universe or your place in it to understand everything that She has seen.

Then you look up at Her, in all her iridescent, unreadable glory, and know that if you are so lucky as to have something else after this life, then there will be no place that was ever safer than in her arms as her luminous wings take flight.
