“Ave, Uno” (2019)

“Ave, Uno” (2019) is from the “Ave” series, meaning “Bird”. Larson created this series after spending time in Barcelona, inspired by Gaudi’s architecture from the Art Nouveau period. He was amazed by the freedom and use of color and light intertwined with nature. On this trip, he meets a dear friend whose spirit animal is a bird and the artist tries to see the world through new eyes, imagining the perspective of a bird soaring with color and light bouncing off the clouds all the while.
