As Above So Below

This night was full of disappointments. The moon was out prior to this and was ruining my shots. I left and went home feeling defeated.

As I got closer to leaving the forest, I saw the moon was getting lower and lower. Eventually it dipped beyond the horizon, and I knew I would be passing one of my favourite lakes very soon, and the core of the Milky Way lined up perfectly there..

Despite it being almost 1am I decided to pull over and see if I could make the most of this trip!
