Day 27 - Arc Residue
Arc Residue explores pressure, surface and movement through the monotype process.
Layers of acrylic pigment are rolled, pressed and partially removed, leaving behind a dense textured field. Carved arc lines cut through the dark surface, revealing the energy of the printing gesture and the physical resistance of the material.
Subtle red tones emerge beneath the monochrome structure, adding depth and tension to the composition.
Each monotype is inherently unique — a single moment of pressure transferred to paper.
