Apparition

Her image flickers in and out like a broken neon sign. She is only observable from a distance.

'Apparition' was developed in Weimar Germany, and first exhibited at 'Republic of Spirits – Republik der Geister!', organized by Bauhaus-Universität Weimar to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus. Artists were selected to install works in twenty different spaces throughout the University. 'Apparition' was exhibited in room 110, a large classroom with high ceilings in the main building of the university designed by Henry van de Velde. The exhibition took place on April 12th, 2019, the actual founding date of the Bauhaus in 1919.
