Apophis

Apophis. Great serpent or crocodile that lived in the waters of the Nun or in the celestial Nile. He was contemptuously designated as Nepai ("He who is like an intestinal gut"). He was a demonic and evil being and a constant threat to order, representing evil and darkness, as the enemy of the dead on their journey to the Afterlife. He threatened Ra daily, trying to prevent the rebirth of the sun. Although Horus and Seth teamed up to defeat her, managing to kill her and cut her into pieces, Apophis (ˁpp) never died and reappeared again and again.
