Angles at Play

There are times when I get lost in the sound itself. In this case, I was toying with an instrument I wired up in Reaktor that triggered several visuals. As with most things I do, there was no motive but to let the notes engage with me. But something about it made me think of the many sad ways in which we use technology in the opposite creative direction. Then I smiled.

We have to remember, that when we do our true work for the work itself, angels reach out to us beyond the void, slipping their voices through the membranes of our ego, to lift us up away from the world and its mindless distractions.
