Ancient binary code translation, from an ongoing project to archive early traces of human imagination for future readers.
This blockchain documentation of a 36” x 36” painting (oil, acrylic, epoxy resin on canvas) is attached to the physical original, which was first exhibited in Stiles’ solo show “Ars Poetica Cybernetica” (Art Yard, Frenchtown, NJ, 2020), and featured in the show “Poeme Objkt” (L’Avant Galerie Vossen, Paris, 2022) curated and organized by Caroline Vossen, Albertine Meunier and Aurece Vettier.
