This is the Genesis piece of a monumental digital odyssey into the heart of ancient Colombia. Ancestral Threshold is a 100-piece collection that reimagines the spiritual and historical legacy of the 10 main pre-Columbian cultures that shaped the territory.
Each piece in this project is a unique 1/1 artwork, created as part of a series of 10 dedicated to each specific culture. This first chapter, Foundational Myths, explores the origin stories, deities, and sacred symbols that defined these civilizations before the dawn of modern history.
The entire collection is rendered in a textured digital oil style, utilizing heavy, visible brushstrokes to bridge the tactile feel of a traditional canvas with the limitless potential of digital tools.
