Anaya

This piece, like all of them, has a story behind it. “Anaya” was born out of a very special creative process for us for the simple fact that we had never experienced it before.

The illustration of the piece is part of a series called “Sketchbook Collab”, initially published on Instagram. It came out of a creative exercise in which two artists, with total freedom, created two pieces from the same sketch. This is one of them.

Then, this illustration inspired a story, written by a third artist. The lines, the colors, the expression of the face told a story to the writer and “Anaya”, who laughs in the rain, was born.

The text of the piece is in Spanish and English. The former is our mother tongue and the latter allows many more people to get to know this free soul. However, what we like the most is that the story “sounds” different in both languages, as it happens with the songs.
