This photograph was taken in New York's Diamond District, on 47th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.

Over the course of one year (August 2020 to July 2021), I walked up and down 47th Street on a daily basis. My goal was to document a single, very unique city block in terms of its characters and the story that it tells. The result is a book entitled "Gems of 47th Street." This photograph is one of the images featured in this book.
