Aki

秋 Aki is Japanese for Autumn. This image is about transition, much as autumn is. I tend to take a single subject approach with my images. I love a strong focal point and a clear idea. I took this one step further by using just one soft red spot color and let the details fall into shades of black and deep gray.

Change often isn't easy, and I'm particularly terrible at it myself. But even the difficult changes can be observed and honored. Find the peace in everything. That's what Aki is about.
