Eagles have soared the skies over blossoming civilizations for as long we can remember. Inspiring humans with visions of power and freedom that still ring true today. Forged by a forgotten hand, this bronze ornamental eagle-head head of a chariot yoke was meant to awe spectators and intimidate opponents. It has traveled through time to meet us here today as an artifact. The inspired Bronze aquila, in relic form, has further inspired a visionary artist of our time. "When I first physically saw chariot head I was moved by how powerful it felt. To see and hold something older than most countries felt unreal. In elementary school I was obsessed with ancient civilizations and read every book on their history and mythologies. So seeing a part and being able to work with a piece of that history is a full circle moment. " Merging the past with the present, who we are with all that is, we light the fire in the eyes of man and charge forth to where the future takes us.
