Terrance Hayes envisioned what he called the "golden shovel" form as a sort of acrostic using the words of a line from another poem. Major Jackson did a double golden shovel with lines going down the beginnings and ends. I call mine a broken golden shovel because the e.e. cummings line goes up down through and over again.
