After Braque

George Braque's cubist work has always attracted me. Whilst organic pieces and flowing lines appeal, the hard edges and industrial feel of cubism still draws me to it.

In this piece, I have envisaged the bold, linear forms of cubism but I have incorporated a hint of softer, curved elements in the distant hills beyond the central image.
