Adrift

Adrift was an attempt to explore some darker, more psychedelic spaces than I had previously. Out of all the songs on the album this one probably changed the least from concept to finished product. It just kind of wanted to be what it was and I tried to just guide the process instead of try to push it in one direction or another. I had recently purchased an Access Virus KC synthesizer and this was the result of my first experiments with it. That instrument would end up being the defining sound of the album as a whole.
