Inspired by the legend of the mamelles that tells the story of Khary and Koumba.
This piece depicts the two wives if they had accepted who they really were. This also translates to us as Africans accepting who we really are, accepting our history and making it part of us, using it to look to learning from them and using it to build our future. This is seen as the lady in the left, Khary is donned in native attire and with a native hair while Koumba is portrayed with a more modern attire.
