Blown-out gemstones. A blue dream intersection.
I’m fascinated by the graphic patterns and textures I discover during my global journeys. Using multiple images, my digitally combined artworks often incorporate repeating hierarchical patterns found hidden in the disarrayed environments I encounter. I’m driven to find balance, order, and harmony amidst clutter and chaos. I frequently employ a modular matrix grid arrangement adding occasional hand-drawn brush strokes to create designs controlled by honed visual perspectives that integrate balance and proportion with buoyancy and sometimes a bit of humor.
I crafted this artwork using two blended texture photographs—a textile fabric I shot in Jaipur plus a street-side display of gemstones also found in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
