Above the clouds

This is a picture of Mt.Oku-Dainichi what is one of Northern Alps in Japan. I took this photo from the top of Mt.Tsurugigozen just before Sunset.

The Northern Alps in Japan are famous area of the heaviest snowfall in the world. It was snowing heavily below the sea of clouds and I climbed Mt.Tsurugigozen in the falling snow.

This photo is a collaboration of Mt. Oku-Dainichi, colorful Autumn leaves, and a beautiful sea of clouds that looks like a waterfall as taken with a long exposure using an ND filter.

I was able to shoot in a very rare situation.
