#A001 - Saturn

This animation is part of my SpaceLine series inspired by our fantasies about space travel as depicted in pop culture: the immensity and infinite power of elements, the loneliness of Man lost in a universe too big for his understanding, the many discoveries that this journey stretched in time can offer.

The project was born from the creation of an illustration for a client. I had to represent "magnetic fields" in black and white without gradients, in the simplest way possible and in a retro-futuristic style. These constraints pushed me to look for visual solutions that gave birth to a style inspired by the old illustrations produced in silkscreen: a mix of solid colors with lined and dotted lines, but reinforced by the possibilities offered by modern 3d creation.
