A Version for Rebuilt Palestine
A Vision for Rebuilt Palestine
A land reborn, where safety blooms. Where children's eyes reflect hope's gleams. We shall not be silenced, never surrender, never forget. Freedom's flame, resistance, our unending testament.
(Symbols):
- Olive Trees: Rooted deep, symbols of resilience, endurance, and the land's connection to its people.
- Plaster/Gesso: Representing the art and culture, the resilience of rebuilding.
- Key: A symbol of return, the right of return, and the hope of returning to their homes.
- Palestinian Attire: Celebrating Palestinian identity, heritage, and culture.
- Mosque and Church: Representing unity, co-existence, and the diverse religious heritage of Palestine.
- Red Palestinian Roses (Freedom Roses or Resilience Flowers): Symbolizing the sacrifices made and the ongoing struggle for freedom.
- Lights: Symbolizing hope, joy, and a bright future.
- Library: A place for books, education, and children's eyes full of wonder at the stories within. A place of learning and knowledge, free from the shadows of conflict.
- National Anthem in the Sky with Birds: Imagine the national anthem echoing through the sky of the city, with birds painted in the colors of the Palestinian flag (black, white, green, and red). The birds represent freedom, the spirit of the people soaring high, and the unity of the nation. The red is symbolizing the blood of martyrs, but also life, strength and the determination to be free.
Poem (A Symbol of Palestinian Steadfastness ) In the land of steadfastness, we planted hope. We will never forget the land of our ancestors, we will never surrender.
The city is rising, a new dawn's light, Where hearts beat free and futures ignite. Through every scar, a story told, In olive groves, our spirits bold.
The key unlocks what was and will be, A tapestry of life, for all to see. The birds take flight, the anthem rings, In freedom's song, the new day sings.
Created for the "ArtForHumanity3" event, this handdrawn digital artwork reflects my hopes for the children of Gaza and a more joyful world. To help make that a reality, I'll donate 50% of the sales from this painting.
