A New Life by Dewey Saunders

I approached the composition as if this were a set design for theatre, with the curtains on each side revealing the cosmic occurrences happening on "the stage." I am fascinated by themes of magical realism and I wanted to create an imaginative landscape with a surrealist flair and feelings of expansion, levity and playfulness.
