Minted for the #PerspecTez event, a different perception of my reality, through motion photography and abstraction.
Motion abstract photograph, long exposure, manually edited on computer.
The goal: to create photographs that read like paintings, seen through a fractured, glitchy perception of the world. Perfection is born of imperfection—digital noise, blurriness, and abstraction become tools to reveal what is usually hidden.
Hidden details surface, textures and forms unnoticed by casual sight, drawn forth by the unpredictable dance of the camera. Motion becomes brush, light and scene elements form pigment, and composition is consciously guided, shaping the eye’s journey across each frame.
No AI was used. Part of the Side Effects project since 2005, a continuous exploration of the unseen, the fleeting gestures, and the delicate patterns that exist in every overlooked moment.
This long exposure records plants on my balcony, where motion, light, and time fold together, dissolving reality into painterly abstraction and immersive perception.
