A Burning Sensation

A level 3 fire broke out in Goregaon, Mumbai, on the 16th of March, 2021. It was a tense day, as the number of Covid cases were increasing rapidly and the whole city was on alert. The situation at my residence that me and my friends rented out was no different, as one of us fell severely ill and we didn’t know if he caught the virus or not. The fire raged on for hours, and so did our anxiety. Everything changed for me once again after that day, after we all got tested positive for Covid and couldn’t return back to our homes as the healthcare was massively failing in India.
