A Beautiful Day captures the perfect moment a surfing Koala looks out at his friend who is completely at one with a beautiful, glassy, slow-breaking wave. As the Koala admires his friend’s vibe, they are both perfectly framed by the flowers, trees, plants and inhabitants of the tropical rainforest that surrounds them.

My goal for this illustration is to highlight the beauty of our natural world and in doing so reminding us to stop for a moment, breathe and appreciate the nature around us.
