Apis Meliifera is the most common and known bee. It was the first domesticated bee ever. It is a transgenic hybrid species purposely bred for better honey production and aggressive behavior reduction. It has remarkable strategies resilient to most environments. Its high survivability provides resource control in the ecosystem pollination competition, contributing greatly to the extinction of local/endemic pollinator species.
