Yesterday 2025/10/22, there was a suspected outbreak of African swine fever in Taichung, Taiwan. I’m really angry — after more than twenty years of hard work, Taiwan finally earned the proud achievement of being able to export our pork abroad, but because of the Taichung City Government’s negligence, the outbreak wasn’t uncovered until 14 days later. Now the Taiwanese government has temporarily banned pork exports and is carrying out strict disinfection measures. We have to protect our pigs!
