Trinity as Hecate. As a child I was passionate about Greek and Roman mythology and goddesses were one of my favourite thing. Of all of them I loved Hecate, multiple goddess, goddess of witchcraft - of the night - of crossroads. Hecate is represented by three faces and for many years feeling trine was a constant. Then I found a semblance of unity by setting aside many parts of me, adapting to the norm that wanted me whole. But when I started using photography to reconnect with my inner world, I felt split again: artist, woman, witch. A split that is barely visible from the outside but which I recognise in my constant restlessness. This piece was born from here. Three equal faces hiding my inner self(s).
